About the Owner

Hello! My name is Melisa and I have been working with QuickBooks and small businesses’ in the trades since 1999. I started off as an Office Manager at a hydraulic cylinder repair company in 1999 and also managed a welding company, a manufacturing company and a carpentry company.

 Because of my extensive experience with the trades, I thrive with small businesses better than any other bookkeeping companies out there. 

I was raised by a mechanic/custom fabricator and understand the language and the internal mechanics of how contractors operate. My clients feel comfortable with me because I am down to earth, yet extremely knowledgeable with the bookkeeping portion of their company.

Why I chose Bookkeeping?

After working as an Office Manger for several contractors, I noticed how challenging it was to be successful as an entrepreneur. Entrepreneur’s of small businesses often wear several hats at the same time. Sales, Manager, Human Resource, and Bookkeeper. My role in their companies freed up their time to pursue their passion (which was NOT tedious paperwork)
